“Poor menstrual hygiene can lead to various health issues, including reproductive tract infections, urinary tract infections, and cervical cancer. Moreover, it can affect women and girl’s quality of life, self-esteem, and productivity. Lack of access to safe and hygienic menstrual products and facilities also limits girls’ continued education and their ability to reach their full potential” said Dr. Mehvish Sharma.
