Shubham Langer, a student/youth activist from Jammu, is taking a step towards creating a better future for his community. He and his friend, Megha Rani, have planned to start an NGO that focuses on youth empowerment, healthcare facilities for the less fortunate, and animal welfare. In an exclusive interview with the Himalayan Express, Shubham shares more about their upcoming initiative, the challenges they have faced, and their future plans for the NGO.

Himalayan Express Correspondent: Can you tell us about your upcoming NGO and its mission?
Shubham Langer: Our upcoming NGO is focused on youth empowerment and animal welfare in Jammu. Our mission is to create a positive impact on our community by providing healthcare facilities, support for the less fortunate, and promoting animal welfare.
Himalayan Express Correspondent: That sounds like a great initiative. Can you share more about the specific programs and activities that your NGO will be undertaking?
Shubham Langer: Yes, we are planning to provide free medical check-ups and treatments to those who cannot afford it. We will also work towards providing food, shelter, and education to the less fortunate families. Additionally, we are dedicated to animal welfare and plan to promote compassion and respect for all living beings.
Himalayan Express Correspondent: That’s impressive. Can you share with us what motivated you to start this initiative?
Shubham Langer: Well, as a student activist, I have always been passionate about creating positive change in my community. The pandemic has highlighted the importance of access to healthcare facilities, and I believe that by providing basic healthcare facilities to those in need, we can make a significant impact on our community.
Himalayan Express Correspondent: That’s a great perspective. Can you share how you plan to fund your NGO?
Shubham Langer: We are currently looking for donations and sponsors to fund our NGO. We are reaching out to local businesses and individuals who share our vision and are committed to improving the lives of the less fortunate in our community.
Himalayan Express Correspondent: Can you share with us any challenges that you’ve faced while planning for your NGO?
Shubham Langer: Well, the pandemic has certainly posed some challenges. It has been difficult to conduct meetings and reach out to potential sponsors and donors due to the restrictions on public gatherings. However, we are determined to make this initiative a reality and are working tirelessly to overcome these challenges.

Shubham Langer: Our long-term goal is to create job opportunities for the youth in our community and empower them to become self-sufficient. We also plan to expand our animal welfare initiatives and promote awareness about animal welfare issues in our community.

Shubham Langer: I would like to urge the community to support us in our mission to create a positive impact in our community.
