Jammu:04-05-23: National Secular Forum (NSF) Jammu University Unit today met with the Executive Engineer of work’s Department University of Jammu regarding the issue of repair of window glasses of the department of geology. The unit was led by Jammu District President Vikshay Vashist along with University President Roshan Sharma. Others who were present there were Aditya Khajuria, Abhishek Uppal, Punnet Baksi, Aditiya sharma, Ankush Babu, Umar Charak and some students of Geology Department. The Department of Geology had sent seven letters in the past five months for the repair of window glass to the Works Department but they did not get any response from the Works Department till now.
During the meeting, they discussed the issue and gave five days’ time for the repair of window failing which students will move to the Vice Chancellor of the university regarding their issue. The Executive Engineer of the Works Department assured that they will repair the window mirror in the next 2 or 3 working days.
