Ladakh to receive Rs. 687 crore for upgrading power distribution infrastructure

LEH, May 3: The Indian government has given the go-ahead for a Rs. 687 crore project to upgrade the power distribution infrastructure in Ladakh. The project will be carried out by the Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) and will focus on augmenting the power transmission capacity in the region, as well as improving the reliability and quality of power supply.
