Dr Jitendra Says Modi Accomplished Unprecedented Developments in Punjab That Were Unprecedented

JALANDHAR, May 3 : Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh recently spoke about the achievements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Punjab during his election campaign for the upcoming Lok Sabha by-election. According to Dr. Singh, for almost 70 years since independence, Punjab was ruled mostly by non-BJP parties, but it was only after Modi became Prime Minister that he addressed the pending issues of the people of Punjab with sensitivity. The creation of the Kartarpur corridor is an example of Modi’s commitment to the people of Punjab, as this demand had been pending since independence. Dr. Singh also emphasized Modi’s respect for Punjabi culture and ethos, as he never fails to pay homage to Sikh gurus at every religious festival. In terms of development, Punjab had not received its due in earlier governments, but in the last 9 years, significant progress has been made, including the construction of a network of roads under the Central Road Fund and the central PMGSY schemes. Dr. Singh cited the express road corridor being constructed from Delhi to Amritsar as a significant example. However, he expressed concern about the growing lawlessness and anarchy in the state and stated that the BJP is committed to restoring the ethos of brotherhood, nationalism, and mutual harmony among the people of Punjab.
