Jammu, Apr 27 : In an effort to ensure the safety and efficiency of school operations during the winter season, the Director of School Education, Jammu, has announced a change in school timings in the Jammu Division. Starting immediately, morning shifts will begin at 10:00 AM and end at 3:00 PM, while afternoon shifts will begin at 11:00 AM and end at 4:00 PM. This move is aimed at providing a safer commute for students, especially during low visibility conditions, and ensuring a smoother flow of traffic on roads during peak hours. The Director has directed all schools in the Jammu Division to comply with the new timings.
