Jammu: The Jammu and Kashmir Police Headquarters (PHQ) issued promotion orders for 29 non-gazetted officers of the ministerial and steno executive cadre. The promotions come after a meeting of the departmental promotion committee chaired by the Inspector General of Police, Jammu Zone.

The officers who have been promoted include six head constables who have been promoted to the rank of assistant sub-inspector (ASI), and 23 constables who have been promoted to the rank of head constable.

The PHQ congratulated the promoted officers and urged them to work with greater dedication and professionalism. The department also urged them to uphold the values of honesty and integrity in their work.
