In Jammu and Kashmir, Sira-A Panchayat of district Udhampur has bagged a second position in child-friendly category of National Panchayat Awards which were presented in New Delhi yesterday. The Ministry of Panchayati Raj conferred the award to gram panchayat Sira-A of Latti Block, under Deen Dayal Upadhayaya Panchayat Satat Vikas Puraskar. Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur, Krittika Jyotsna congratulated members of the said Panchayat on the achievement.
