SMVDU remembers Jalianwala Bagh Massacre

NSS SMVDU Katra organized a poster making competition on Jalianwala Bagh Massacre. The event was organized to make students aware about the historical incident on April 13, 1919, in which British troops fired on a large crowd of unarmed Indians in an open space known as the Jallianwala Bagh in Amritsar in the Punjab region. That incident became a turning point for our freedom fight and connected all Indians against Britishers. Around 30 volunteers participated enthusiastically in the event.  Students showcased their creativity during the poster making competition. All the required materials for the poster making was provided by NSS team volunteers. NSS volunteer Anshika coordinated the event with other volunteers successfully.
