New Delhi, Apr 15 : India reports 10,753 fresh COVID-19 cases, with 53,720 active infections, according to data from the Union Health Ministry updated on Saturday. The death toll has climbed to 5,31,091, with 27 deaths recorded in the last 24 hours. The daily positivity rate was 6.78%, and the weekly positivity rate was 4.49%. The total number of COVID-19 cases in India is 4.48 crore (4,48,08,022), with 98.69% of patients having recovered from the disease. The case fatality rate was recorded at 1.19%. Additionally, 220.66 crore vaccine doses have been administered under the nationwide vaccination drive, according to the ministry’s website.
