Aam Aadmi Party leaders led by Dr. Rajendra Thapa visited GMC Hospital to inquire about the condition of those injured in the Narwal blasts.
After taking stock of the treatment being given to the injured, Dr. Thapa said that all the injured are being treated very well at GMC Hospital. Those who needed surgery were operated by skilled doctors. He said that the assistance of Rs 50,000 announced by the administration to the injured should be increased. Dr. Thapa said that GMC Hospital is leaving no stone unturned to provide better health facilities to the people using its resources but still there is a lot of need for improvement here. After this, the delegation of AAP leaders met Dr. Shashi Sudan, Principal, GMC. Dr. Thapa said that GMC hospital should be given schemes and AIIMS level facilities as it is often seen that many people of J&K depend on outside hospitals for treatment. Dr. Thapa said that if the Aam Aadmi Party comes to power, all the hospitals here will be upgraded.
