Srinagar, Dec 05: Farooq Abdullah was on Monday elected unopposed as the president of National Conference, reports said.
Quoting NC spokesperson, Imran Nabi Dar, news agency KNO reported that the Srinagar Parliamentarian was elected unopposed in the presidential polls held at the Nawa-e-Subh party headquarters.
The polls were necessitated following Abdullah’s decision to step down as the party president.
