RHS had the privilege to host SCIFARI-2022 under the banner of Sahodaya Schools Complex
on 19th November. Budding Scientists from 25 Cbse Schools participated in the mega event.
The young scientists displayed their acumen through working models on the theme:
“Innovations for Sustainable Development”.
The eminent jury members–Dr Sumit Gandhi from IIIM, Dr Harish Chander from Jammu
University, Dr Avtar Changotra from Cluster University and Dr Rakesh Sharma from Sher-e-
Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu declared their
judgment after a lively interaction with all the participants.
The Chief Guest on the occasion Th. Gulchain Singhji Charak ex- minister R&B and Higher
Education, Advocate Gambhir Dev Singhji Charak – Managing Director Rich Harvest and Mrs
Ruchi Charak- Director Rich Harvest were accorded a warm welcome by the Rich Harvest
Principal Ms Anita Bhatia.
The distinguished guests sought divine blessings by lightning the ceremonial lamp. Ganesh
Vandana by 9th & 10th girls elevated the mood to a higher dimension. The next item- a
group song- urged everyone to save water for posterity. The Dogri Song by class 8 students
brought the house down with thunderous applause.
The Chief Guest gave away the most coveted prizes to the proud winners: IN SENIOR
CATEGORY, the first prize was bagged by KC INTERNATIONAL, 2ND BY RICH HARVEST, 3RD BY
APS MIRAN SAHIB and consolation prizes went to APS KALUCHAK AND INDIAN PUBLiC
SCHOOL KATHUA.
IN JUNIOR CATEGORY: FIRST PRIZE WENT TO SAI INTERNATIONAL, 2ND Prize went to
INTERNATIONAL DELHI RISING SCHOOL and 3rd prize was awarded to SHEMFORD
FUTURISTIC. The consolation prizes were won by HERITAGE SCHOOL and JAMMU SANSKRITI
KATHUA.
The Chief Guest applauded the efforts of all the participants. He emphasized that learning
should be based on inculcating values taught to us by Mother Nature as Nature is the best
mentor.
