Jammu: To acquaint the dairy farmers with the latest trends and machinery involved in milk and dairy products processing cum marketing, the SKUAST Jammu under the supervision of VC JP Sharma has been organizing exposure visits to various dairy farms. In this regard, Dr JS Soodan, Dr Bhardwaj, Dr Utsav today organized exposure visit to Dairy farm at Sehora owned by JKDFA Provincial President Sandeep Singh Chib. The said programme has been organized under the guidance of VC JP Sharma Jammu. Through these programmes, the dairy farmers get an opportunity to interact with experts to get the latest know-how about the innovations in Dairy Processing and Marketing. It provides dairy farmers an opportunity to get well equipped with the latest skills, knowledge and techniques for boosting the milk production.During interaction with Experts, Chib discussed with the experts about common problems of dairy animals like availability of the good quality of semen, repeat breeding, prolapse etc. Experts also sort out these queries.
