Jammu, J&K – 16 October 2026 – In a significant move to improve hearing care access in Jammu, Hearing Help Pvt Ltd. has inaugurated the BestSound Center (BSC) 3.0 in collaboration with WS Audiology (WSA). This state-of-the-art facility aims to bridge the gap between clinical expertise and personal care, marking a notable step towards enhancing the hearing health of local residents.
To celebrate this momentous launch, WSA partnered with Suryoday Foundation to donate 150 hearing aids to 75 underprivileged residents, reinforcing their shared vision of accessibility in hearing care.

Located at 17-A/D, Near District Police Lines, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu-J&K-180004, the BSC 3.0 embodies the evolution of the BestSound concept that prioritizes consumer experience over clinical structures. The recent launch follows a successful introduction of a similar center in Bangalore, showcasing WSA’s commitment to bringing world-class hearing care to India’s northern region.
Research from the World Health Organization indicates around 63 million individuals in India experience significant auditory issues. This includes over 1.5 billion people globally, with an alarming projection of 700 million experiencing disabling hearing loss by 2050. Accessibility to care faces multiple hurdles, such as social stigma, high costs, and a prevailing notion that hearing aids are an option of last resort, making it even more challenging for those outside major urban areas to find help.
“Ensuring access to quality hearing care is crucial, regardless of economic status or geographical location,” stated Mr. Avinash Pawar, Managing Director and CEO of WSA India. “With the establishment of BSC 3.0, residents in Jammu & Kashmir can expect the same high standard of care and advanced technology available worldwide, ultimately facilitating better connections with family and community.”
With an inviting and interactive design, the center includes designated spaces for diagnostics, counseling, product trials, and aftercare support without the stigma of a conventional medical setting. Equipped with advanced hearing evaluation tools, the facility enables customers to experience different hearing solutions in real-world scenarios, ensuring a comfortable exploration process guided by trained hearing care professionals.

One of the center’s standout features is its dual offering of hearing aid brands—Signia and Widex. Research indicates that sound preferences vary widely among individuals, and these two brands cater to differing needs. Signia specializes in clarity and speech recognition in noisy environments, while Widex focuses on a natural auditory experience. This diverse selection enables the center to match each individual with the optimal technology suited for their specific auditory requirements.
“Bringing BestSound Center to Jammu alongside WSA is a moment of tremendous pride for us,” said Mr. John Zargar, Managing Director and CEO of Hearing Help Pvt Ltd. “Since our inception, we have witnessed many locals travel far for adequate hearing care or forgo treatment due to costs. This collaboration brings world-class audiological technology to our community, revolutionizing perceptions of hearing health.”
In partnership with Suryoday Foundation, the identification of deserving beneficiaries was a vital element of the project. A total of 75 individuals suffering from hearing loss received personalized assessments and fitting of their hearing aids, provided by WSA experts. The foundation’s efforts seek to bridge the gap for those unable to afford hearing care, which often leads to social isolation and diminished quality of life for many.
“The gift of hearing goes beyond mere technology; it’s about restoring connections within families and communities,” added Mr. Pawar. “Together with Hearing Help and Suryoday Foundation, we’ve begun our mission in Jammu to support 75 individuals in reclaiming their sense of belonging.”
Mr. Zargar closed by articulating their ongoing commitment: “Jammu represents our service commitment on a daily basis. The beneficiaries we encountered today reflect the heart of our mission. We aim to continually provide follow-up care, alongside initiatives for hearing awareness and screenings throughout Jammu and beyond.”
Through this groundbreaking initiative, WS Audiology and Hearing Help invite the people of Jammu & Kashmir to prioritize their hearing health and embrace the transformative power of timely intervention and suitable hearing solutions.
