Minister Sakeena Itoo Inaugurates New PHC in Kulgam

KULGAM, SEPTEMBER 20: Minister for Health and Medical Education, Social Welfare and Education, Sakeena Itoo, inaugurated a newly constructed Primary Health Centre (PHC) at Devsar in Kulgam today. The event witnessed the presence of significant local leaders, including MLA Devsar, Peerzada Feroz Ahmad, and senior officers from the district administration and health department.

Sakeena Itoo highlighted that this new PHC aims to enhance accessible and quality healthcare services, indicating a positive step for the local population. The Minister stated, “We are committed to expanding health infrastructure in rural and far-flung areas, ensuring no citizen is deprived of basic medical facilities.” This initiative aligns with the government’s broader strategy to fortify healthcare access in underserved regions.
