New Delhi, June 13: Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a comprehensive review meeting on the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) with National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval and other top officials.
During the meeting, PM Modi received a detailed overview of the security-related scenario in J&K. Officials provided insights into the ongoing counter-terrorism efforts being carried out in the region.
PM Modi emphasized the importance of deploying the full spectrum of counter-terrorism capabilities to effectively combat threats in the region.
Following the meeting, PM Modi engaged in discussions with Home Minister Amit Shah to deliberate on the deployment of security forces and the progress of counter-terrorism operations in J&K.
Additionally, PM Modi connected with J&K Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to assess the situation on the ground. He was briefed on the efforts undertaken by the local administration to maintain peace and security in the region.
