NEW DELHI: Rajnath Singh Proposes Narendra Modi as Leader of NDA Parliamentary Party
Senior BJP leader Rajnath Singh put forth Narendra Modi’s name as the leader of the NDA Parliamentary Party during a meeting held at the central hall of the old Parliament house. Singh’s proposal received support from key BJP figures including Amit Shah and Nitin Gadkari, as well as other prominent NDA leaders.
Singh credited Modi for the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance’s expansion, highlighting that the alliance is not merely a compulsion but a commitment for the BJP.
Following Singh’s proposal, Amit Shah and Nitin Gadkari seconded the three resolutions, endorsing Modi’s leadership for the BJP in Lok Sabha, as well as for the NDA and BJP parliamentary parties.
Senior NDA leaders, including H D Kumaraswamy, Chandrababu Naidu, and Nitish Kumar, lent their support to the resolutions, clearing the path for Modi to assume office as Prime Minister for the third consecutive term.
