SRINAGAR, May 27: The throat-slit body of a man was found inside his residence in a village in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara district, as per police reports on Monday. Identified as 50-year-old Abdul Hamid Khan, the deceased was a resident of Mir Muqam Awoora village.
Officials stated that Abdul Hamid Khan’s body was discovered in his home early in the morning. The body has been moved for medico-legal procedures.
“A case has been registered in connection with this incident, and an investigation is underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the man’s murder,” officials added.
