PM Modi Denounces Alleged Attempt to Deprive Dalits and Backward Classes of Reservations, Accuses INDIA Bloc of Vote Bank Politics

BIKRAM (BIHAR), May 25: Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a scathing rebuke on Saturday, pledging to thwart purported attempts by the INDIA bloc to strip Dalits and backward classes of their reservation rights, which he accused of prioritizing “enslavement” and engaging in “mujra” to appease the Muslim vote bank.

Addressing a rally in the Pataliputra Lok Sabha constituency, located approximately 40 kilometers from Patna, PM Modi also criticized parties like RJD and Congress for allegedly neglecting the reservation quotas of SCs, STs, and OBCs in minority institutions.

“Bihar is the cradle of the fight for social justice. I vow here to counter the schemes of the INDIA bloc aimed at usurping the rights of SCs, STs, and OBCs and redirecting them towards Muslims. They may continue their servitude and dance for their vote bank,” asserted the Prime Minister.

PM Modi further accused the opposition alliance of seeking support from entities engaged in “vote jihad,” citing the Calcutta High Court’s decision to overturn the West Bengal government’s inclusion of several Muslim groups in the OBC list.

Campaigning for two-term BJP MP Ram Kripal Yadav, PM Modi took a dig at detractors, remarking sarcastically, “Some people have such animosity towards Lord Ram that they may frown even at the name of Ram Kripal.”

Referring to the forthcoming Lok Sabha election results slated for June 4, PM Modi urged voters to exercise their franchise wisely, emphasizing the significance of their vote in electing not just their MP but also their PM.

In a veiled swipe at opposition leaders, PM Modi criticized their purported aspirations for brief stints as prime minister, contrasting it with his vision for India’s global leadership.

Assuring accelerated development for Bihar in the next five years, PM Modi promised improved electricity supply and more durable housing while condemning the previous Congress-led UPA government for its perceived failure to provide free food grains to the populace.

Mocking exit poll predictions hinting at a decline in the NDA’s tally, PM Modi derided the INDIA bloc for preemptively assessing electoral outcomes and insinuated potential criticism of EVMs in the aftermath of the polls.

As the electoral battle intensifies, PM Modi’s impassioned rhetoric underscores the high stakes and contrasting visions vying for public endorsement in Bihar and beyond.
