BSF Head Constable on Election Duty Passes Away Due to Heart Attack in North Kashmir

Tragedy struck during election duty in the Kunzer area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district as a Border Security Force (BSF) head constable, identified as Brahandev Ram from 185 Bn BSF B-Coy, succumbed to a heart attack on Wednesday evening.

According to reliable sources, the deceased head constable was on duty at the Higher Secondary School Kunzar when he suffered a heart attack. Despite immediate medical assistance provided on-site, he was swiftly transported to a nearby hospital. However, despite efforts, the doctors at JVC Srinagar declared him brought dead.

The sudden demise of the BSF head constable has cast a shadow over the election duties in the region. Further investigation into the incident has been initiated.

This unfortunate incident underscores the challenges faced by security personnel while performing their duties, especially during critical events like elections.
