SRINAGAR, May 22: Five individuals, including two tourists from West Bengal, sustained injuries in a road accident in the Ferozpora Tangmarg area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday.
An official informed news agency Kashmir Scroll that the accident occurred near a petrol pump in Ferozpora when two vehicles, bearing registration numbers JK01H 4183 and JK05L 6192, collided with each other. The collision resulted in injuries to five persons, including three tourists.
“All the injured were promptly transported to a nearby hospital for advanced treatment,” the official stated.
A police officer, speaking to news agency Kashmir Scroll, confirmed that all the injured individuals are in stable condition. He identified the injured tourists as Mohd Abdus Saboor, son of Damin Ali, and Fareeda Yasmin, both residents of West Bengal.
