JAMMU, May 01: Raj Kumar Goyal, an IAS Officer from the Jammu and Kashmir cadre, currently serving as Secretary of Border Management in the Government of India, has been entrusted with the additional responsibility of Secretary of Law & Justice. According to the order shared with Cross Town News, “the Competent Authority has approved the assignment of additional charge of the Department of Justice, Ministry of Law and Justice to Shri Raj Kumar Goyal, IAS (AGMUT:90), who currently holds the position of Secretary, Department of Border Management, Ministry of Home Affairs. This responsibility comes following the superannuation of Shri S.K.G. Rahate, IAS (JH:1990) on 30.04.2024. Goyal will continue in this role until the appointment of a regular incumbent or until further orders, whichever comes earlier.”
