Srinagar, April 30th: Weather conditions are anticipated to ameliorate in Jammu and Kashmir starting tomorrow, according to forecasts from the local meteorological department. Generally cloudy skies are predicted to prevail until May 5th.
Over the past 24 hours, heavy rainfall has been experienced in the plains, while the higher altitudes have witnessed fresh snowfall.
The Meteorological spokesperson indicated that on April 30th, many areas can expect generally cloudy skies accompanied by light rain and thunder. Furthermore, dry weather interspersed with occasional thunderstorms is expected in a few locales from May 1st to May 5th.
Between May 6th and May 7th, scattered areas may experience light rain accompanied by thunder.
The weather advisory encourages farmers to resume agricultural activities starting May 1st.
