Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to embark on a campaign trail in Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh on Thursday as part of the ongoing Lok Sabha elections.
Beginning his day with a ‘Vijay Sankalp Rally’ in Madhya Pradesh’s Morena at 11:30 a.m., PM Modi will later head to Uttar Pradesh for a series of public meetings. He is scheduled to address gatherings in Agra at 1:15 p.m., Alampur Jafrabad in Bareilly at 3:30 p.m., and Shahjahanpur at approximately 5:15 p.m.
Several other significant political events are also expected to unfold across the country today:
- Union Home Minister Amit Shah will kick off his day by addressing a public meeting in Telangana’s Siddipet, followed by another in Odisha’s Sonepur under the Bolangir Lok Sabha constituency at around 4:00 p.m. He will then stay overnight in Bhubaneswar, where he will convene with senior BJP leaders.
- Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will hold public meetings in Uttar Pradesh’s Lakhimpur Kheri at 11:30 a.m. and Rajpur (Kanpur Dehat) at 1:40 p.m.
- Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is slated to address a public meeting in Jaswantnagar, Etawah.
- Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav will file his nomination from Uttar Pradesh’s Kannauj Lok Sabha seat around noon.
- Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya will conduct a public meeting in Kannauj at 10:00 a.m., followed by BJP candidate Subrata Pathak filing his nomination paper for the Kannauj Lok Sabha seat.
- BSP National Coordinator Akash Anand will hold an election rally in Lalganj, Azamgarh district, Uttar Pradesh, around 11:00 a.m.
- BJP leader Sanjay Kumar Bandi will file his nomination paper for Telangana’s Karimnagar Lok Sabha seat at 10:00 a.m. in the presence of Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel.
- Congress leader Sachin Pilot is scheduled to attend multiple campaign events in Madhya Pradesh, visiting Ujjain, Mandsaur, and Dewas districts, accompanied by Madhya Pradesh Congress President Jitu Patwari, Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar, and Rajya Sabha MP Vivek Tankha.
- AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi will address an election rally of the PDM Alliance in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, on Thursday, attended by Apna Dal (K) leader Pallavi Patel.
