Kathua : In the initial two hours of polling in the Udhampur Parliamentary Constituency, Kathua saw over an 8.44% voter turnout, with proceedings reported to be peaceful. According to the office of the Chief Electoral Officer, J&K, the turnout percentages in various assembly segments were as follows:

The Returning Officer for the Udhampur Parliamentary Constituency, Dr. Rakesh Minhas, was among the early voters, queuing up at the polling station to cast his ballot.
