Srinagar, April 05: An unidentified terrorist was killed after security forces foiled an Infiltration bid in the Sabura Nala area of Uri in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Friday.
A top official said that during wee hours, movement of militants were detected. The infiltrators were challenged by the security forces, leading to a firefight.
During firefight one militant was killed, whose identity was not yet ascertained, he said.
Search operation in the area is going on. More details are awaited.
