Srinagar, April 1: A recent boulder slide on the Srinagar-Jammu highway near Sherbibi Kishtwari Pathar has resulted in the suspension of vehicular movement on both sides, authorities announced on Monday.

According to an official statement, the boulder slide occurred on Sherbibi Kishtwari Pathar, causing a halt in traffic movement in both directions on the Srinagar-Jammu highway. Restoration work has commenced to clear the road and ensure smooth vehicular flow. Motorists are advised to adhere to lane driving for the orderly regulation of traffic on the highway.

It is noteworthy that traffic movement on the Jammu-Srinagar highway was previously halted due to mudslides and shooting stones in Ramban district on Saturday. However, after a 15-hour span, movement was restored on Sunday.
