JAMMU, March 29: Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his condolences and sadness over the accident in Ramban, Jammu and Kashmir, on Friday. He conveyed sympathies to the families of the deceased and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.

In a post on X, PMO India stated, “PM Modi has expressed grief over the accident in Ramban, Jammu and Kashmir. He extends condolences to the bereaved families and prays for a quick recovery of the injured.”

“The next of kin of each deceased will receive an ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh from PMNRF. Additionally, Rs. 50,000 will be provided to the injured,” the post added.
