New Delhi, Mar 28: In a court hearing on Thursday, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) extended the custody of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal until April 1 in connection with the excise policy case. While the agency had requested a seven-day extension, the court ordered Kejriwal to be produced before the court on April 1 at 11 am.
Presenting Kejriwal before Special Judge Kaveri Baweja at the Rouse Avenue court, the ED stated that during his custodial interrogation, he provided “evasive replies.” The agency also mentioned that statements from three other individuals were recorded during the remand proceedings.
