New Delhi : A total of 110 individuals have tested positive for Covid-19 in the country in the last 24 hours, according to data released by the Union Health Ministry on Monday. The new infections have contributed to the overall caseload, which now stands at 4,50,28,163, including cases of the JN.1 Covid variant. Fortunately, no deaths were reported during this period, keeping the death toll at 5,33,472.
Among the newly reported cases, Maharashtra accounted for 42, Karnataka for 14, and the national capital, Delhi, reported 15 new infections. Encouragingly, 84 individuals recovered from the disease, bringing the total number of recoveries to 4,44,93,798. Currently, the active cases in the country stand at 893.
