Will organize Winter Carnival in February-CEO BDA

Bhaderwah: Breaking the long dry spell, moderate snowfall received in higher reaches of Bhaderwah especially in visitor’s favorite Guldanda meadow is emerging as darling of tourists thronging from different parts of country as more than 2 lac tourists have visited JK’s Bhaderwah since last year December, Cheif Executive Officer (CEO) Bhaderwah Development Authority (BDA) Bal Krishan informed.

The only snow filled Guldanda meadow of Bhaderwah located at the height of more than 10000 ft above sea level is experiencing heavy influx of tourists to enjoy the snow in Jammu region of J&K.
Huge number of tourists enjoying in the lapse of snow meadow of Guldanda and they were excited about snow there. While sharing details, CEO BDA Bal Krishan said that it’s a great achievement for tourism sector in Bhaderwah as we received about 2.2 lac tourists in different places of Bhaderwah since December last year and the our Guldanda meadow becomes most visited place, which is a good omen for future of Bhaderwah as round the year tourist destination.

“It’s very good sign to see Bhaderwah as round the year tourist destination of Jammu Division,” CEO added, informing we expect that as per prediction of MeT department, Bhaderwah will receive heavy snowfall in coming days and if it happens we are planning to organize winter carnival in February.
“It’s also a good omen for Bhaderwah as for the first time we are receiving most of tourists from different parts of Country. The percentage of outside tourists is about 95%,” CEO informed.

Tourists are also enjoying the beauty of snow at Guldanda meadow and describing it one of the best place to visit.
They appeal others to visit Bhaderwah and explore it in a big way as there is everything ok to visit and enjoy.
