Bhadarwah Jan 25 : In line with the ongoing 35th National Road Safety Month, Assistant Regional Transport Office (ARTO) Doda organized a Road Safety Awareness Program and pledge ceremony at New Bus Stand Bhadarwah today.
The event aimed to sensitize the general public and drivers about the importance of safe driving and adherence to traffic rules was presided by SP Bhadarwha Vinod Sharma and ARTO Doda Rajesh Gupta.

During the program, more than one hundred drivers and 150 new licence seekers were educated about various road safety norms.
The Assistant Regional Transport Officer, Rajesh Gupta emphasized the significance of different traffic rules and urged all stakeholders in society to acknowledge their responsibilities towards better traffic management and road safety. SP Vinod Sharma who also administered pledge among all the participants, highlighted that while changing driving behavior may take time, education remains the key to achieving this transformation.

Later ARTO, SP Bhadarwah and SHO Amrit Katoch distributed pamphlets among the youth to educate and motivate them to follow traffic rules religiously to save the precautions lives.
The event was part of a broader initiative to promote responsible driving practices and reduce road accidents in hilly Doda district.
The ARTO Office Doda continues to play an active role in fostering a safer road environment, and such awareness programs contribute significantly to creating a culture of responsible driving within the community.
