Empowering the Youth: PM Modi Claims Government Led the Country Out of Darkness

New Delhi, Jan 25: In a virtual address to young voters organized by the youth wing of the ruling BJP, Prime Minister Narendra Modi claimed on Thursday that his government has led the country out of the darkness that loomed over youngsters a decade ago. He emphasized the pivotal role young voters play in determining India’s future direction and approach.

PM Modi urged the youth to shoulder the responsibility of developing the country over the next 25 years, akin to the role played by the younger generation in the 25 years preceding Independence. Taking a dig at opposition parties, he asserted that the youth is against corruption and nepotism, emphasizing that family-run parties hinder the progress of other young individuals.

Highlighting the transformation over the past decade, Modi acknowledged that circumstances a decade ago had cast a shadow on the future of youngsters. He contrasted the prevalent corruption and scams with the present focus on achievements, success stories, and possibilities in various sectors.

PM Modi showcased the government’s commitment to infrastructure development, digital initiatives, and support for startups, underscoring the vast opportunities available for the youth. He assured, “It is Modi’s guarantee that your dreams are my resolve,” reaffirming his continuous prioritization of the youth.

Acknowledging the impact of a stable and strong majority government in the past decade, Modi cited significant decisions and resolutions, including the removal of Article 370, the implementation of GST, reservation for women in Lok Sabha and assemblies, and the abolition of instant triple talaq among Muslims. The virtual address aimed to inspire and engage young voters, positioning the government’s achievements as a catalyst for empowerment and progress.
