Bhaderwah : To get fully prepared for upcoming celebration of Republic Day 2024, ADC Bhaderwah Dilmir Chowdhary chaired a high level meeting with officers of different Departments in additional Distt Bhaderwah on Thursday.
The meeting was chaired by ADC Dilmir Choudhary in presence of SP Vinod Sharma and 2IC 4RR Lt Col Sameer, in which officer and officials of different Departments of Additional District Bhaderwah participated. BDO Bhaderwah Anoop Sharma, EO MC Bhaderwah S K Sharma and others were also present.
ADC Bhaderwah directed all departments to work collectively for the smooth and peaceful conduct of important celebration of Republic Day 2024.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner directed all concerned officers to ensure more public participation to make Nation Function more attractive and joyful with patriotic fervor and enthusiasm.
In the meeting, a threadbare discussion was also held on various arrangements related to the smooth conduct of the function like seating, barricading, drinking water, power supply, sanitation, fire services, security, transport, traffic regulations, illumination of government buildings and other necessary arrangements on the national day function.
The ADC directed heads of all departments to ensure their presence at the Republic Day function, besides directing their subordinate officers and officials to attend national functions at their respective jurisdictions.
All the concerned departments were directed to get in place all the required arrangements before 24th January the day of full dress rehearsal.
During the meeting , it was apprised that venue of the function will be the New Bus stand kotli Bhaderwah, where National Flag will be unfurled at 9:55 AM and the contingents of JKAP, NCC Senior Division, NCC Junior Division and Tinny Platoons from Government/Private Schools shall perform March past parade. Besides, cultural programs will be performed by the students of various schools.
It was also decided that the day shall start with playing of Shenai Vadan by Information Department Bhadarwah.
The Full Dress Rehearsal of the programme will be held on 24th January 2024.
On the occasion, SP Bhaderwah Vinod Sharma reviewed security and traffic management-related arrangements and assured foolproof arrangements during the R-Day celebration.
