Musical Prodigy: Krithikha S’s Early Affection for Music

Krithikha S, born in 2001, as daughter of P subramanian and Prema, belongs to a musical family. Right from a baby of 1 month age, she showed affection towards music. She started learning Carnatic music at the age of 3 years from her grandmother in the old conventional manner which was helpful for a lot of her singing career . Since the age of 8, she was strained in Carnatic music and hindustani music, and started doing Carnatic concerts at the age of nine. Thereafter years and years of more than 300 carnatic concerts all over India.
At the same time she was trained in film songs, poem recitation in Malayalam and other forms of music.
She has Bagged numerous prizes in different school and college competitions. She was selected as ‘Bhavans Jyothi kalathilakam’ title 3 times consecutively in the all Kerala Bhavans school kalolsavam competitions. She was honoured by ‘Tanpura’ award by Dr K J Yesudas in 2017 at Tripunithura. She has participated in 5 reality shows; Jaihind Tv, Amrita TV, Kairali TV, National television Sony TV and Asianet. In Kairali Tv. She won first place in Kairali TV mampazham 10 reality show and was 1st runner up of Asianet Star singer season 8 and appreciated by the judges, KS Chithra, Sharreth, Shreya Ghoshal and many other eminent singers and musicians She is being appreciated by lakhs of TV audience in India and all over the world.
