PM Modi pays tribute to heroes of India’s win over Pakistan in 1971 war

New Delhi, Dec 16: Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his heartfelt tribute to the heroes of India’s triumph over Pakistan in the 1971 war on the significant occasion of ‘Vijay Diwas.’ In a post on X, he emphasized, “Their valour and dedication remain a source of immense pride for the nation. Their sacrifices and unwavering spirit will forever be etched in the people’s hearts and our nation’s history.”

PM Modi further remarked that India salutes the courage of these heroes and fondly remembers their indomitable spirit. On the occasion of Vijay Diwas, he extended sincere tributes to all the brave individuals who served India dutifully in 1971, ensuring a decisive victory. It was this victory that ultimately led to the birth of Bangladesh.
