Lawrence Bishnoi and Jaggu Bhagwanpuria, implicated in the murder case of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, have submitted discharge applications in a Mansa court. Both deny involvement in the crime, with Bhagwanpuria emphasizing the lack of evidence linking him to the case in his 235-page application.
According to sources, Bhagwanpuria challenges his implication based on the Punjab Police’s charge-sheet, arguing that the investigation failed to establish any concrete link between him and the crime. He contests the allegations made by Manmohan Singh Mohana, asserting that despite claims of phone communication from jail, no such evidence was uncovered during the police investigation.
Interestingly, Lawrence Bishnoi seeks discharge despite previously admitting in an interview to committing the murder. The case continues to unfold as the legal proceedings progress.”
