UP CM Yogi Describes AIMIM as the Bond Linking Congress and BRS in Telangana Assembly Polls

Uttar Pradesh : Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath asserted on Sunday that the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) functions as a pivotal connection, akin to ‘fevicol,’ between the Congress and the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) in Telangana.

During the second day of his campaign to rally support for BJP candidates in Telangana ahead of the November 30 polls, CM Yogi urged voters to cast their ballots for the BJP. Taking a swipe at the BRS, he encouraged people to give a ‘VRS’ (Voluntary Retirement Scheme) to the party, remarking, “AIMIM is working as ‘fevicol’ between these two parties.”

CM Yogi Adityanath extended greetings to the people and sought support for BJP candidates, including A.P. Mithun Kumar Reddy from the Mahbubnagar (Palamuru) region, Prashant Reddy from Devarakadra, Bantu Ramesh from Kodangal, Ande Babaiya from Shadnagar, Chittaranjan Das from Jadcherla, Ratang Padum Reddy from Narayanpet, and Jalandhar Reddy from Makthal.

He highlighted the sacrifices made by hundreds of people to build Telangana and accused the Congress of manipulating emotions. CM Yogi claimed that under the leadership of KCR, TRS had shattered the dreams of the people in the region. He assured that if the BJP comes to power, Mahbubnagar would be established as Palamuru and invited people to visit the Ram temple in Ayodhya, with special arrangements for a train.

Speaking about the state of affairs in Uttar Pradesh, CM Yogi contrasted the situation before 2017, when curfews were imposed for months, with the present scenario under Prime Minister Modi’s guidance. He highlighted the significant changes, emphasizing the absence of curfews and riots. Yogi also pointed out the decline in terrorism, stating that during the Congress era, terrorism thrived, citing the Mumbai attack in 2008. He credited the current sense of security to the strong stance against terrorism, highlighting job creation in Uttar Pradesh as opposed to the alleged lack of employment opportunities in Telangana.
