Srinagar, November 22: Kashmir experiences a further drop in minimum temperatures, with Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, marking the coldest night of the season at minus 1.8 degrees Celsius. The region anticipates continued chilly weather conditions as the mercury plunges. In Qazigund, temperatures settled at minus 1.0 degree Celsius, Gulmarg recorded a minimum of 0.6 degrees Celsius, Pahalgam registered a low of minus 3.3 degrees Celsius, and Kupwara in north Kashmir noted a minimum temperature of minus 1.4 degrees Celsius. The sub-zero temperatures persist amid foggy weather, expected to continue until November 27, as per the meteorological department’s forecast.
