JAIPUR, Nov 20 : In a rally held in Rajasthan’s Pali district, Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized the importance of a government in the state that prioritizes development. He criticized the Congress party, alleging that corruption and dynastic politics are their primary focus, while also accusing them and their allies of having an anti-women mindset.
PM Modi highlighted the Congress’s opposition to the ‘Narishakti Vandan Act,’ a law providing reservation to women. He claimed that the Congress has initiated a campaign against women and criticized alliance leaders for making objectionable comments about mothers and sisters. He also pointed out that despite derogatory remarks by the Bihar chief minister about women in the Assembly, the Congress remained silent, showcasing, according to Modi, the true face of the party.
Furthermore, Modi accused the Congress of turning a blind eye to atrocities against Dalits, stating that the party’s government in Rajasthan focuses solely on appeasement. He urged the need for a government in the state that prioritizes development, emphasizing Rajasthan’s crucial role in India’s 21st-century progress.
“The Congress government here thinks of nothing except appeasement,” Modi stated, asserting that Rajasthan must contribute significantly to the nation’s development goals.
