New Delhi, October 27: Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his deep satisfaction with the tremendous response to the auction of mementoes he has received over the years. He urged people to participate and place their bids.
The current round of e-auction features 912 items, including replicas of the Sun Temple at Modhera and the Vijay Stambh of Chittorgarh, the Chamba rumal, Pattachitra, and a vivid painting depicting a Varanasi ghat.
Modi emphasized, “I’m truly elated by the overwhelming response to the auction of the mementoes I’ve received over the years. As you’re aware, the proceeds are dedicated to Namami Gange. I kindly encourage everyone to join in and place their bids for some of the very special mementoes I have received.”
Notable items in this round of e-auction include a statue of Ram Darbar, a model of the Golden Temple of Amritsar, Kamdhenu, and a souvenir from Jerusalem. The e-auction, which commenced on October 2, is scheduled to conclude on October 31.
