Two Individuals Face Legal Action for Posting Offensive Comments About Adityanath on Social Media

Ballia (Uttar Pradesh), October 12 : Two individuals have been charged with allegedly posting offensive remarks about the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, on social media, as confirmed by the police on Thursday.

Atul Kumar Mishra, the Station House Officer (SHO) of Nagra Police Station, explained, “We received a complaint regarding objectionable comments made by Vivek Yadav against Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in a WhatsApp group a few days ago.”

“The complaint was filed by Balmiki Yadav, a resident of the same village. In response to this complaint, we registered cases against Vivek Yadav and the administrator of the WhatsApp group under section 505 (2) of the Indian Penal Code, which pertains to publishing content with the intent to cause fear or alarm in the public,” he added.

The investigation into the matter is currently ongoing.
