Rahul Gandhi to Participate in ‘Jan Aakrosh Yatra’ in Madhya Pradesh on September 30

Congress MP Rahul Gandhi is set to make a visit to Madhya Pradesh, a state gearing up for upcoming elections, on Saturday, September 30, where he will take part in the Congress’s ‘Jan Aakrosh Yatra’ campaign.

Former minister and Congress MLA, Jitu Patwari, confirmed Rahul Gandhi’s visit to the state and revealed that the Congress leader would arrive at the Kalapipal assembly constituency in Shajapur district.

In a video message, Patwari explained, “The Congress Party is conducting the ‘Jan Akrosh Yatra’ campaign to bring the grievances of the public to the forefront throughout the entire state. The party, along with senior leaders, has been organizing this yatra from seven different locations, covering the entire state, to highlight the concerns of the youth, women, farmers, employees, and ordinary citizens to the state government.”

He went on to announce, “As part of this series, Rahul Gandhi is coming to participate in the ‘Jan Akrosh Yatra’ in the Kalapipal assembly constituency in Shajapur district on September 30.”

The Congress party has launched the ‘Jan Aakrosh Yatra’ from seven different regions across the state, commencing on September 19, covering a total of 11,400 kilometers and touching nearly all the assembly constituencies.

Madhya Pradesh is gearing up for assembly polls later this year, where legislators will be elected from 230 Assembly constituencies.

Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the state and addressed a ‘Karyakarta Mahakumbh,’ a massive gathering of BJP workers in Bhopal on September 25. During the rally, the Prime Minister criticized the Congress for what he termed as the party’s misrule and underdevelopment of Madhya Pradesh during its tenure in the state and at the center.

“After independence, the Congress ruled MP for several years. But the misrule by the Congress government kept MP among the BIMARU states. During its tenure in Madhya Pradesh, the BJP has taken the state to new heights with a new energy,” Prime Minister Modi stated.

It’s worth noting that in recent weeks, the BJP has been conducting Jan Ashirwad Yatras, a mass-contact program, from five different locations in the state. PM Modi addressed the ‘Karyakarta Mahakumbh’ to mark the culmination of these yatras.
