Bhaderwah, Aug 28: To boost entrepreneurship development among youths to foster innovation, economic development and to induce job creation in the region, The Business School(TBS), Bhaderwah Campus (Jammu University) in collaboration with SHoDH (Students for Holistic Development of Humanity Foundation) organized seminar on ‘Entrepreneurship Development in Jammu and Kashmir’ on Monday to celebrate World Entrepreneurship Day-2023.
ADC Bhaderwah Dilmir Choudhary was the cheif guest and ASP Bhaderwah Vinod Sharma was the guest of honour. BM HDFC Bhaderwah Nisar Batt was the special invitee.
The event organized in the Lal-Ded auditorium of Bhaderwah Campus was presided over by Dr Sunil Bhardwaj Assistant Professor of The Business School and Co-convener of Seminar.The event began with lighting of the traditional lamp by the dignitaries.

Beside large university students, progressive farmers, entrepreneurs, start-ups and locals participated in the programme.
On the occasion, an interactive session with faculty, students, Entrepreneurs, scholars and civil society was held.
While presenting welcome address,Mohammed Owais Head of the Department, appraised the participants about the new initiative by The Business School, to act as a startup incubator for supporting the trailblazing ideas of aspiring entrepreneurs.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Sunil Bhardwaj shared the importance of resilience and persistence in entrepreneurship.
He motivated students to explore entrepreneurship as a career path.
Some successful entrepreneurs were invited to interact to encourage the participants to take up entrepreneurship as a career choice.

Touqeer Bagban, a young entrepreneur of Bhaderwah shared his life experience how he left job in Mumbai to start venture that manufactures organic and healthy cattle feed.
Another renowned business tycoon of the UT, Abdul Gaffar Bagban revealed how he bring revolution in aromatic field by cultivation of medicinal and aromatic plants in J&K. He also shared the marketing strategies adopted by his brand JK Aroma, which is emerging as one of the top Oil brand in the country.
While speaking on the occasion, ADC Bhaderwah Dilmir Choudhary briefed the participants about the various schemes of the government to support startups and innovative ventures.
