Ramban : Today on 12th of August as a part of programme under theme “Meri Maati Mera Desh”Traffic Police National Highway organized “Panch Pran Pledge” ceremony at Traffic Police Headquarters Ramban.
In the ceremony Sr Superintendent of Police Traffic NHW Sh Rohit Baskotra read out the contents of the pledge and all the officers and officials repeated the same. After reading out the pledge , SSP also explained the meaning as well as purpose of the pledge that by doing so, we take the pledge of Panch Pran, with focus to make India a prosperous and progressive country, to be proud of our rich heritage, to uphold unity and solidarity, fulfil duties as citizens, and respect those who protect the nation.
Besides others, Dysp Traffic NHW Sh Iftkhar Ahmed, DTI’s and all Sector officer also participated in the pledge ceremony.
In his message SSP Traffic Mr Rohit while commemorating the sacrifices of the martyrs paid rich tribute to the Bravehearts who laid down their lives for the country and sacrifice their today for our tomorrow.
SSP further asserted that by organising such we can inculcate feeling of patriotism in our future generations which is must to uphold the unity and integrity of the nation.It strengthen the resolve of security forces for the fight against anti national forces.
SSP Traffic NHW also appreciated whole team of Traffic Police who are working tirelessly day and night to make a congestion free National Highway and boost them to work with same zeal and integrity.
