In a shocking and tragic incident, a Railway Protection Force (RPF) constable identified as CT Chetan fired shots on the Jaipur-Mumbai Central Express Train (Train number 12956) in Maharashtra, resulting in the death of four individuals, including an RPF assistant sub-inspector (ASI). As per Western Railways, the fatal shooting occurred inside the B5 coach of the Jaipur-Mumbai Central Superfast Express. The accused constable, CT Chetan, who was on escort duty, unexpectedly opened fire on the ASI, Tika Ram, who was in charge of the escort. The train had reached Borivali (BVI) when reports of the firing surfaced.
