New Delhi, July 6: According to the latest data from the Union Health Ministry, India has reported 42 new cases of coronavirus, with the number of active cases declining to 1,452. As of 8 am, the death toll stood at 5,31,910. The total tally of virus cases reached 4.49 crore (4,49,94,449), while the national COVID-19 recovery rate stands at 98.81 percent. The ministry also reported that 4,44,61,087 individuals have successfully recovered from the disease, with a case fatality rate of 1.18 percent. Furthermore, the country has administered 220.66 crore doses of the Covid vaccine under the nationwide vaccination drive.
