New Delhi, Jun 29 : According to the updated data from the Union Health Ministry, India has recorded 47 new coronavirus infections, resulting in a decrease in active cases to 1,549. The death toll stands at 5,31,905, while the total COVID-19 case tally has reached 4.49 crore (4,49,94,144).
The national COVID-19 recovery rate has been reported at 98.81 percent, with a significant number of 4,44,60,690 individuals having successfully recuperated from the disease. The case fatality rate stands at 1.18 percent.
In terms of vaccinations, the ministry’s website states that a total of 220.66 crore doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered across the country as part of the nationwide vaccination drive.
