Srinagar, June 22: In a significant operation, the Anantnag Police apprehended two individuals linked to the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorist organization in the Bijbhera region of Jammu and Kashmir. Law enforcement officials successfully seized a cache of arms and ammunition during the operation. Among the recovered items were Rs 1 lakh in cash, 12 rounds of AK 47 ammunition, and one grenade. The Anantnag Police promptly registered a case at the Bijbehara police station and are currently conducting further investigations into the matter.
